We Won! "Most Creative Spring Cupcake"

You may have seen in previous posts that we recently held a Great American Bake Sale to raise money to benefit Share Our Strength. When the sale was over, we posted our pictures on the Bake Sale Neighborhood to share our experience with others who are planning bake sales of their own.

Well, yesterday I received a package in the mail! I just assumed it was a birthday gift, until I saw that it was from the Great American Bake Sale! They had a "Take Your Best Shot" contest and chose winners for 2 categories from all of the bake sales in America! Most Creative Spring Cupcake and Most Creative Spring Bake Sale. My Pink YUM Cupcakes won for the first category, "Most Creative Spring Cupcake". I received a large cookbook from Share Our Strength (and we all know how much I loooove to cook!), plus an award certificate! How neat!!

TheKnot's Best Of Weddings 2010

More exciting news! Back in January, the winners for TheKnot's Best Of Weddings were announced. I never received any notification that I made the list, so I had no idea! I was actually scheduling a consult with a bride on the phone last night and she mentioned that she saw me there. At first I was a little confused and thought she meant another Amy event planner (there are several of us!), but she said she was sure it was me. So I checked the website and sure enough, there I was. Better late than never!

We received the honor of winning the "Best Wedding Planner in Ohio" for 2009 from OneWed! What an honor! We're so excited to hear the news! After a rough 2009, it feels wonderful to get some praise for the hard work we do! :) Thanks to OneWed and the brides for this incredible honor!
