- www.amynixon.com - I am the proud owner of Amy Nixon Events LLC, an event planning and design firm serving all of Ohio and Destination Weddings. I have been professionally planning weddings and events since 2006, and also have a decade of floral and decor experience. My goal in creating this blog was to share information and inspiration with brides and other vendors in the business. I'm also a newlywed (10.6.07). I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and moved to Ohio in 2005. Since moving here, I've learned that the snow and I don't agree! I enjoy reading, blogging and brainstorming/designing. My favorite things are: chocolate PayDay candy bars, Starbucks white chocolate mocha, mexican food, traveling, shopping, mimosas, and planning parties for any occasion!
