- www.amynixon.com - I am the proud owner of Amy Nixon Events LLC, an event planning and design firm serving all of Ohio and Destination Weddings. I have been professionally planning weddings and events since 2006, and also have a decade of floral and decor experience. My goal in creating this blog was to share information and inspiration with brides and other vendors in the business. I'm 30 years old and a newlywed (10.6.07). I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and moved to Ohio in 2005. Since moving here, I've learned that the snow and I don't agree! I enjoy reading, blogging and brainstorming/designing. My favorite things are: chocolate PayDay candy bars, Starbucks white chocolate mocha, mexican food, traveling, shopping, mimosas, and planning parties for any occasion!
