Congrats Marissa & Matt!

The ceremony was at United Methodist Church in Avon, and the church was a packed house for the ceremony! After the ceremony, the bride & groom left made their exit as their guests waved ribbon wands. The wedding party went off for photos at Crocker Park, while we headed to the cocktail hour and reception at Wagner's Country Inn.

The color scheme was yellow and celadon, so the flowers were pops of bright color against the white linens and fabric treatments.The flowers included hydrangeas, roses, spray roses, tulips, daffodils and carnations. The room was aglow with candlelight on every surface and twinkle lights above.

They had a super fun DJ who kept the party going all night, and a surprise from the bride & groom....the DJ cranked out "Shots" as the made their way through the crowd with trays of jello shots.

Congrats Liz & Brian!

After almost two weeks of non-stop rain, the sun peeked out to create a gorgeous day for Liz & Brian's wedding! It was a wonderful day on the lake at Lyman Harbor with an outdoor ceremony and reception inside the Starlight room. This super sweet couple had a super sweet reception, including cupcakes and a candy station! In keeping with the sweet theme, Brian carried his new bride into the reception during their introduction!

 

Their lakeside ceremony was perfect! Liz chose Disney songs for the processional music. She loves Disney, and that's where they were headed for their honeymoon! A single white archway marked the ceremony location with a table for a sand ceremony, and white petals lined both sides of the aisle. For the sand ceremony they had sand from Ohio and New Jersey, from both of their home states.

This couple from the Jersey shore were so sweet! I had a blast working with this family for 10 months, and it's hard to believe it's over already! I wish Liz & Brian all the best, and I can't wait to see the honeymoon photos from Disney!

Congrats Loretta & Jacob!

While the Royal Wedding was going on across the pond, Loretta and Jacob were getting married right here in Cleveland, and we were creating a pink, black and white candy station for their reception at Windows on the River. White fudge covered pretzels, pink M&M's, black licorice, strawberry old fashioned candy sticks, and rock candy sticks. It was perfectly pink and princess-like!

Photo Shoot with Edric Morales

This weekend we had a great time setting up a photo shoot for Edric Morales with EM's Event Photography. We did a pink and gold spring table with greenery, branches and beautiful fragrant pink hyacinth flowers. I pulled a few things from our rental items (a gold sparkly runner, gold chargers, champagne & wine glasses, appetizer plates) and I dug into our stationery samples for some matching programs from a previous wedding.

After shooting the table, Edric took us outside for some photos of us! We had such a great time! Even though it was pretty windy most of the time, we were really lucky that the rain stopped for the entire afternoon so we could get some great outdoor shots. My cheeks literally hurt from laughing by the time we were finished. Edric is super fun to work with!

Vendor Spotlight :: Catherine's Chocolates

I stumbled upon chocolate heaven last week. :) 

I've driven by Catherine's Chocolates in Avon countless times, and every time I told myself I'd stop next time I came by. Finally, I got the opportunity to stop in last week because of the bridal show. I even took a tour of the place and got to see a bit of the "behind the scenes" details. There are so many different and creative chocolates, plus so many other cute gifts to browse through. Stop in and see them at 36718 Detroit Road in Avon.

 

Since Easter is coming right up, of course the place was decked from floor to ceiling with adorable Easter decor. Oh, and the Easter candy.....there aren't even words to describe! I'll let the pictures do the talking....

Here's a photo of the chocolate station Catherine did for our bridal show (which they can do for weddings and other special events) along with some of the favors she did for the tables. My favorite is the chocolate caramel dipped apples....you have to try them!

"The Wedding Reception" Bridal Show

Our first ever "The Wedding Reception" bridal show was a hit! Thanks to all the brides who attended, the vendors who donated products and services, and the volunteers who helped make our show incredible! We had a wonderful evening, and everything turned out amazing! Stay tuned, this show was so great we HAVE to do it again!
